Studying abroad has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life. I’m fortunate enough to get to explore the cultural diversity and I’m pleased to share with you guys. Going to a country where English is their first language is no doubt the best way to become bilingual. You have to be in that situation, drown yourself into the language and atmosphere in order to master it. Being bilingual also means you have more options to try different things in later life. That also gave me a profound understandingof different life experiences, as they relate to approaching an understanding of reality and attaining enlightenment.

I also learned how to budget my expenses. It’s a distinct difference from studying domestically. Most of the western schools will have mix and match courses for you to take before you decide what major you want to pick, it is perfect for those confusing freshman to do. If you have the opportunity to study abroad, I highly recommend you to take the chance, find out what kind of life you want, and pick the best academic direction and academic life for yourself.
